Hosting & server log files
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data centre in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. When you access it, the server automatically records technical access data (including a shortened IP address, date and time, the resource requested, the referrer, and browser/operating-system identifiers) in server log files. This serves the secure and stable operation of the site. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Analytics with Matomo
For statistical analysis of visits I use the self-hosted open-source software Matomo (matomo.fuewa.systems). Matomo is configured cookielessly, shortens/anonymises IP addresses and respects your browser's “Do Not Track” setting. No data is shared with third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a needs-based design of the website).
Cookies
This website sets no tracking cookies. Only your browser's local storage records whether you have acknowledged the cookie notice; this information stays on your device and is not transmitted.
Contact
If you contact me by email, I process your details to handle the request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required.
Links to external profiles (social media & gaming)
This website links to my profiles on external services. These are plain hyperlinks only — no social plugins, iframes or tracking pixels are embedded. Only when you actively click such a link are you forwarded to the respective provider, where data (including your IP address) may be processed. I have no influence on this processing; the respective provider's privacy policy applies.
